Understanding Human Evolution (5th Edition)	Basic, but good. Also reasonably up to date.
	Reconstructing Human Origins, Second Edition	This is more advanced than McKee et al., but is still quite readable. It is pitched closest to the level of this class.
	The Human Career: Human Biological and Cultural Origins	An excellent, very detailed book, but a bit out of date. This is perfect if you are seriously considering graduate school.
	Human Evolution: A Very Short Introduction (Very Short Introductions)	A wonderful short introduction to human evolution. This is the way to go if you are on a tight budget.
